Aadhaar cardholders can apply for the Aadhaar PVC by visiting the UIDAI Official Website or Residents Portal using their 12-digit Aadhaar number (UID), 16-digit virtual identification number (VID) or ID of 28-digit registration. Requests can also be made using a registered or unregistered mobile number.
However, please note that UIDAI has set a fee of Rs 50 / - (including GST and fast postage) to get Aadhaar reprinted on PVC card.
How to Order Reprint of PVC Aadhaar card Online
- First, visit the UIDAI website, https://uidai.gov.in/
- Then, on the home page of the UIDAI website, select My Aadhaar
- Now, in the Get Aadhaar section, select the 'Request Aadhaar PVC Card' option
- Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number
- Next, enter the security code or Captcha code
- Click Send OTP; you will receive the code on the registered mobile number
- Enter the One time password - OTP received on your registered mobile number
- Review the terms and conditions and click Submit
- Select the payment option and pay the required amount.
Once the payment is successful, you will receive the new Aadhaar card from Speed Post within five business days, excluding the day of the request. However, after ordering the new Aadhaar card, you can also check the status of your Aadhaar PVC card on the official UIDAI website.
